There’s a Gulf Oil station right near my Apartment that has ethanol-free premium gas. I filled up there and my sub-interstate mileage went from 12 to about 16. That’s pretty god damn significant.

Ethanol is -great- if you want to make a shit-ton of power, but it does have a significantly lower energy density.

source: we owned both an Echo and a gen 1 Sienna, and both of them hated ethanol.
